Inspired by materials sourced from areas near Lago de Coatepeque. Materials that age well with the inclemencies of the weather: tropical storms, high amount of sunlight, particular pf this location. The main building stands erected within four main walls, three of them envisioned in local stone. This walls also separate social from private areas and changes in materiality.
An inner courtyard was designed as a reference to colonial architecture in the country and to provide spaces crossed ventilation and natural lighting. The rooms located in the second floor and rooftop in the third, are flanked by a terrace covered with plants for privacy.
