One Tool One Stool
There is no other way to describe this project: One tool one stool. nothing else, no glue or nails. The challenge was evident, once a tool was chosen, the material research and experimentation was the most important aspect of the project. Using the characteristics of heat from a soldering iron I started to explore with materials that could be melted together, just like solder would melt to "glue" together two ends of metal. My answer was plastic, that melted together would be resistant enough for a person to seat in it. Darker areas mark sport connections, therefore stronger segments in the piece.
